“A MESSAGE FROM ACTS-CDC BOARD OF DIRECTORS”

If one wishes to make a difference in the community where he or she lives, work or worship, then there has to be a level of commitment and involvement, this is exactly what the Board of Directors for ACTS-CDC is doing.  We are trying to do our best to ensure that others have a quality of life that is second to none.  We believe that if we are going to help make a difference in the Westside communities, then we must do all that we can to help bring about positive changes.  Yes, we truly believe in what we are doing and we want to say thank you to all those who have come along beside us to support us in our efforts.  We are very humble by the support of our local donors from the public, private, business, and government sectors.   The old adage says, “progress is when we all push in the same direction.”  Therefore, the progress that we are making in the communities of Montgomery is because we have others who are helping us with our pushing.

2018 has been a year of challenges and adjustment, but the ACTS-CDC Board of Directors are committed to our cause to revitalize West Montgomery and the surrounding communities.  We know that we learn by doing and we will continue to do all that we can as a board to make a difference for the citizens of Montgomery, Alabama.

Below are before and after pictures of the current project that we are working to complete at 1606 Edgar D. Nixon Avenue, Montgomery, AL   36104.  This is an example of what the ACTS-CDC Board of Directors are committed to doing to help bring about positive changes.  This once blighted property will become the new home of a very deserving family.  Revitalization is a perpetual process that we will continue to do.  Our mission is to eradicate blighted properties in West Montgomery.  Again, we want to say thanks to all those who believe in what we are doing and are supporting us in our efforts.  Thank you for helping us to do what we do.
